Hi there,The DS Extensions module was developed within Open Text Global Services and is not an optional module. Please contact your Open Text account representative for more information. Depending on the version of Livelink you are using, there may or may not be a compatible version of the module. As its name suggests, the DS Extensions module provides extensions to the Livelink Directory Services Module. These extensions offer an extra degree of flexibility in setting up Authentication and Synchronization options. This module extends directory services authentication and synchronization options in the following ways:1. Allows the user to specify the authenticated user variable name in the HTTP header.2. Allows the option for users to log in as a non-authenticated user or as an authenticated user with a password that is not hidden.3. Allows a specific group of users to be authenticated.4. Allows the developer to specify additional user fields to be synchronized.5. Allows SSL to be enabled for LDAP server synchronization.6. Allows restoration of disabled users.7. Allows LDAP synchronization from multiple search roots on the same LDAP server.8. Department names can be up to 48 characters in length.9. Groups may be created from Departments.Regards,Dave
