NTLM Authentification

Hi !We have made the change to NTLM Authentification last week. And it works fine, but on some workstations the user get a browser login window (window username and window password then it works) . How to "deactivate" this login window ? We could not found any difference to the Workstation next to them (they are clients) ?ThanksMarco

Sometimes it helps to verify if the Livelink site you connect tois within Internet Explorer security in the ‘Local Intranet’ instead of ‘Internet’area.

We have the same problem here and we never found the explanation but we almost clearly related it to people who were requested to change their PW in AD

Have you checked to see if the user might have a saved password stored in Windows? On Windows XP, that can be checked in the Control Panel > User Accounts > Advanced tab > Manage Passwords.It could be presenting the prompt for username/password because the one saved in their Windows profile is invalid, so it's re-asking for a valid account. If this is the case, you might find after several attempts that their network account might be locked out (depending on your failed login policy).
