Limiting an Add New Item to just a Project Workspace

This should be pretty straight forward, but hasn't been. I've created a custom object that I only want users to be be able to add within a project workspace. When I add change the webnode.fParrentApplTypes to the subtype of a project volume(201) it allows me to add this item, but only on the first level. If I were to create a folder in my project, then I wouldn't be able to add this item in the folder. If I include both a folder(0) and project volume(201) as the parentApplTypes, then you'll be able to add the item, but the custom object shows up twice in the Add New Item drop down. Same thing happens if I just use the project(202) subtype. It'll allow me to add the custom item on just the upper most level. If I use both project and project volume, the link will show twice. Any thoughts to how I can just get the add new item to show under the whole project workspace and not just the upper most level? And to not have the link show twice in my drop down menu?Thanks,GregR
