Accessing attributes in a subworkflow

Does anyone have a sample piece of code for a general callback script that shows how to get to the attributes of a subworkmap after it executes.Everything I have tried returns the attributes of the main workflow or I get a blank work package.I have tried every combination that iI can think of using the work, workid and subworkid that I can think of.thank you very much in advance.
