Use Livelink Explorer from within VB-Application
Hansruedi_Suter_(hansruedisuter_-_(deleted))
Is there a way to use Livelink Explorer from within a VB-Application to browse through Livelink folder structure, select documents and receive _the ID's_ of the selected documents? At the moment LAPI is used to receive documents and the appropriate ID's, but that's quite complicated. I'm looking for a comfortable way for the user to find documents in the LL-folder structure and to bring the document-ID's into the VB-Application.

The livelink explorer SDK provides the open respectively the open2 function. This function "[..] allows the user through navigate the Livelink hierarchy, and fetches the selected document to the local disk.[..]".In this case fetching the whole documents is not needed at this time. The idea is to build a (local) set of document-ID's and to fetch the documents at a later point. So I think the open function does not fit for me.
