Set start page upon login

Is there a way to redirect a user to a folder/page upon login based on various conditions, for example if access time is Monday to Friday, direct the user to folder1, Weekends to folder 2 etc.Thanks

Hi Kevin,

Yes, it is much more likely that you want to change the home page, rather than change the page that follows a login. (A user rarely explicitly logs into Livelink; logins are typically a side-effect of an authentication requirement for a particular Livelink request.)

For a Livelink URL that contains no argument values the default request is "?func=ll.GetDefaultRH". Unless configured by the user or by the administrator the result of this is "?func=Enterprise.Home". (This then redirects to "?func=llworkspace".)

I expect you want to override the ll.GetDefaultRH request handler.

Alternatively, you could add a CUSTOMVIEW on the Enterprise Workspace that do the redirection for you based on time and user rather than trying to override the code or update the OT.ini file on a regular basis.
