Using checkboxes in user input fields

I haven't been able to find this topic addressed on the KC.In a LiveReport with user prompts, is there a way for users to select checkboxes? I am testing a form and table where the user can select checkboxes when adding a record: i.e., the user can indicate whether the record refers to a paper document, video, etc. I'd like the searcher to be able to select checkboxes so only those media types are returned.Many thanks for your opinions.

I suppose a work around might be to use a text field or textpopup when adding the record where the values are Y or N (as opposed to 1 or 0).The searcher would type a Y if he wants to see those types. I'm am really hoping to use checkboxes for the input fields, though.
