Problems with Upgrading Ospace 9.2 to 9.7 functions

I have been working my way through correcting a 3rd party vendor product for workflows and have been finding various problems - some of which I can resolve, and one at present which I have a problem with. The code is trying to coerce a dynamic variable into a RecArray object, and understandably, LL doesn't like this on runtime. The dynamic variable returns what is in effect a record set, but the function used is also tied up with alot of other functions, so changing the function return type cannot be done. How can I convert a dynamic to a RecArray object which can have individual record info read off (to build up a SQL statement). I would consider rewriting the code from scratch, but there is too much and I have little experience with Ospace etc at the moment to do this.

Judith, there is no problem using a Dynamic to declare a RecArray. In fact, in most cases it is the best way to declare a RecArray, as the result from a CAPI.Exec may return a RecArray or an Integer.

May you send the part of code which causes pb
