Backup your opentext.ini file so that you can login to your livelink server using username/password/In case this makes it difficult to go on.
Right click the virtual directory that is hosting livelinkThru the IIS management tool. You should be looking at theDirectory Security tab.The virtual directory Will be pointing to your opentextfolder/cgi.Here you have two choices
A)You can use an anonymous domain account(not the default machine account )B)You should be setting the Basic Authentication on.OrA)You can use IWA.This means that the user hitting this web server is known to the web serverB)You should be setting the Basic Authentication on.
This concludes the livelink server's Sso authentication piece.Synchronization is talking to ldap/AD serverAnd is NOT covered here.
Pls also note that by using IWA you are sying that the livelink NTFS permissions are run by theActual user so they should ideally be permitted on cgi,bin ,logs and some other diectories of theLivelink root. You use 'Authenticated Users' on that folders. All of this info is probably available in the install guide
Also.Last but not least you run a reset all user's passswords to hidden and now they have SSO.Your userid in this case You should be given 'System Administrator'+'UA' access before this or you will find yourself in aReal mess because once you turn this on you cannot login as 'Admin' unless you have a backdoor directory, that is why in my screen shot you see
A LL Admin virtual directory.

I could not log in via IWA (SSO)Posted by Yediel, Egemen on 07/13/2007 09:26 AM
I used LDAP Read Only synchronization. Passwords are hidden , login names are NT-style username (username@domain.com)
I select Integrated Windows Authentication method, usernames are NT-style username ,preserve case and remote_user.
My server is Windows 2003 R2 SP2 with IIS and LiveLink 9.7.0.
But I dont know i how i configure IIS.
Can anybody help me about this?
