LiveReport showing attributes

Hi,I am trying to create a report using information from the DTree table. I can display all the basic information about the documents in question but am struggling to display information about the attributes connected with them. Am I correct that the information is held in the 'ExtendedData' field? When I display this field I only get '?' shown.Hope someone can help

You will need to link from dtree to the LLATTRDATA table. The link is on dataid and version - because each version of a document in Livelink has a snapshot of it's attribute information.

You would need the id of the document, the id of the category and the id of the attribute.

The query could look a bit like this;

select l1.valStr

from llattrdata l1, dtree d1

where d1.dataid = <myDocId>

and l1.id = d1.dataid

and l1.vernum = d1.versionnum

and l1.defid = <myCategoryId>

and l1.attrid = <myAttributeId>

Alternatively, it's also handled outside of the query in Webreports using the WebReports tags available.
