Save to namespace extension

From what I understand, when Livelink Explorer is installed, the "Livelink" icon on the desktop is a namespace extension. Is it possible to have this viewable through an application "Save As" dialogue box? I would like our users to be able to save to Livelink through any application.Thank you,Nicole

This is not actually possible with Livelink Explorer. Professional version includes integration with Office suite and Acrobat. Livelink Explorer SDK allows to develop integration with other applications, as far as these applications allow to develop extensions or if you have access to their source.

You may be able to "save as" into Liveink with Webdav, but only from "Webdav enabled" applications.

I guess the only way of doing this is writing your own namespace extension using LAPI or webservices.
