Tod,
Yes indeed thiscan be done. When I was developing one of the exercises for the Buildertraining course I investigated having the students do exactly this.Unfortunately it took too long to be a reasonable exercise for class. Theclassroom exercise is primarily one of discovery and the students are directedto trace through the Livelink code to see how to add a new column to the “Detail”view. Part of the exercise notes tells the students to *not* attempt to sort the list.
May I suggest thatyou consider taking the Builder training before you tackle this customisation?I know you will find it invaluable. Also, Open Text does provide consultingservices and we can do this customisation for you.

Sorting a report built with HTML/Builder
Posted by todfunk (Funk, Tod) on 08/06/2007 11:04 AM
I have inherited a report that runs some html/builder code. I am not too experienced with Builder, so I am not sure how the two exactly work together. I know that I see an html folder in my module that has what I think is oscript in it. Also it is linked with some code that is in Builder. The users would like to have the ability to sort this report on the fly by clicking on the report column headings. Has anyone done anything like this or can this even be done? Thanks!
