Will multifile functions work without enabling the java module, configuring a Web Application Server
Bettina_Mastroianni
Can we use multifile zip and download, zip and email, print, single file zip and download, zip and email, print without enabling the java module and so configuring a web application server to work with Livelink servicing dynamic requests? Many thanks

Message from Mark Simm via eLinkHi Bettina,The Multi-File Output module is not a Java Module. This will work finewithout have the Java Server running for Livelink. The Java Serverthread will only service Java Modules such as My Home, however if youwant Livelink to run through the a Web Application Server this can stillbe accomplished. You would create two XML files for both the Livelinkand Livelinksupport context's and have them deployed from the%Tomcat%\conf\Catalina\localhost\ directory...this is called using theLLServlet vs the CGI or LLIsapi.dll (Web Server) that has essentiallybeen the standard way of running Livelink for most customers.-Mark-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Development Discussion[mailto:development@elinkkc.opentext.com] Sent: Wednesday, August 22, 2007 11:15 AMTo: eLink RecipientSubject: Will multifile functions work without enabling the java module, configuring a Web Application Server? Will multifile functions work without enabling the java module, configuring a Web Application Server?Posted by Mastroianni, Bettina on 08/22/2007 11:11 AMCan we use multifile zip and download, zip and email, print, single filezip and download, zip and email, print without enabling the java moduleand so configuring a web application server to work with Livelinkservicing dynamic requests? Many thanks[To reply to this thread, use your normal E-mail reply function.]============================================================Discussion: Development Discussion
