Updating attribute without re-indexing the document

Hi,I'm currently working on a process that sets an attribute value in a custom category, using LAPI (SDK 9.2).I'd like to know if there is a way to avoid re-indexing the document after updating an attribute (I don't need this attribute to be indexed at this time). Otherwise, is it possible to set the attribute value directly into the database using the API?Many thanks in advance for your answers. Antoine
