Problems with DTreeAncestors table?
Kenneth_Huie_(INACTIVE)
Greetings friends of KC land! Our environment is LL 9.5 SP1, Oracle 10G, UnixHere is the situation:We are using the following LiveReport to locate & display Workflow attachments from specific workflow map IDs based on a query for a specific workflow attribute and an identified portion of the Workflow name. Here it is below:select d.*, dv.MimeType, (select CASE substr(name,1,2) WHEN 'FY' THEN 'Attachments' ELSE name END from DTree where d.parentID = dataID) as "ParentLoc", dv.DataSize from DTreeAncestors da, DTree d left outer join DVersData dv on (d.DataID=dv.DocID and d.VersionNum = dv.Version) where da.dataID = d.dataID and d.subtype = 144 and da.ancestorID = ((select data_userdata from wdata where data_workid = (select WWork.Work_WorkID from Dtree, WMap, WWork, WSubWork where(WMap.Map_MapObjID=434190 or WMap.Map_MapObjID=434165) and substr(WSubWork.SubWork_Title,3,4) = %1 and (select WF_ValStr from WFAttrData where WF_ID = WWork.Work_WorkID and WF_AttrID = 33) = %2 and Dtree.DataID = WMap.Map_MapObjID and WMap.Map_MapID = WSubWork.SubWork_MapID and WWork.Work_WorkID= WSubWork.SubWork_WorkID and (select WF_ValStr from WFAttrData where WF_ID = WWork.Work_WorkID and WF_AttrID = 32) is not null and WWork.Work_Status != -2 and (WWork.Work_Status != -3 OR (WWork.Work_Status = -3 and WSubWork.SubWork_Status = -1))) and data_subtype = 1)) and (dv.filetype = 'xls' OR dv.filetype = 'pdf') order by 3 desc This runs correctly in the test environment (A). When we try it in two other similar environments (B & C) we get limited results.B Gives no resultsC gives a partial result that only includes the subfolders of the Worflow Attachments area.* We have considered User rights but Admin is in use* We have adjusted the code for the correct WMap.Map_MapObjID=434190 and WF_AttrID = 33* All systems have the same buildAny ideas on what could be the cause?I appreciate your input,Thanks in Advance!

Message from Kyle Swidrovich via eLinkHello Ken,An issue has been identified with the population of the DTreeAncestorstable that prevents the table from being a reliable resource forancestry of Livelink nodes (Bug #LPAD-16436).This issue will be resolved in the next monthly patch for Livelink.Regards,______________________________________Kyle SwidrovichSenior Search / SDK Product SpecialistLivelink Escalations Support TeamOpen Text Corporation275 Frank Tompa Dr.Waterloo, ON, CANADAPhone : +1-800-540-7292Online:

Message from Kyle Swidrovich via eLinkAlong the same lines of the DTreeAncestors table, you may wish to walkthrough ParentID values from DTree for a given node to obtain the listof parents, although this will slow your query down.-- Kyle-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Livelink LiveReports Discussion[mailto:livereportsdiscussion@elinkkc.opentext.com] Sent: November 1, 2007 6:53 AMTo: eLink RecipientSubject: RE Problems with DTreeAncestors table? ~ Other solutions?RE Problems with DTreeAncestors table? ~ Other solutions?Posted by Huie, Ken on 11/01/2007 06:48 AMKyle,Thanks very much for you input. Are there other means to consider for our requirement?Requirement: display the attachments of a specific workflow based uponan attribute and workflow title.Best to you all,Ken Huie[To reply to this thread, use your normal E-mail reply function.]============================================================Topic: Problems with DTreeAncestors table?
