LiveLink integration with external application databases

We are new to LiveLink products and need some help to achieve the following:We have Records Management application which tracks the information about physical case folders stored in the data warehouse. Recently we implemented LiveLink Enterprise Server to hold electronic images of these case records. We will use Enterprise Scan for scanning. We will be showing a symbol in our application next to those records where electronic version of the record exists in the LiveLink. We would like to provide a link to LiveLink document repository in our Records Management application so that users can directly access the images.
