Livelink 9.1.0.3 LAPI UTF-8

hi all,i'm new to livelink.i have problem that i have a system with UTF-8 support, let say X system. X system can post a word document in java LAPI to livelink server 9.1.0.3 successfully. But when i try to update the document's cateogry from X system, i cannot retrieve the document back and got the error "Failed to Update Category as object not found".This error happens most likely when the document's name has characters like ? (apostrophe, not ' ), ? (quotation mark, not ").Please help.
