LAPI Forms and workflows

Currently I am using ver 9.7.0, and I am having trouble locating the LAPI_FORMS class in my lapi.jar file. I am trying to populate a form prior to starting a workflow using JAVA. I have been able to Start a workflow without the form information, however the form information is extremely important to my process, and I am unsure of what the impact would be if I updated the form table after Starting the workflow. I do have Livelink Forms 9.7.0 currently installed, but no sight of the LAPI_FORMS.class file. I was able to do some research and see that in older versions it was not there, and even attempted to add the class to my jar to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
