Deleting Folders via LAPI via Recycle Bin Method
Matthew_Barben_(matthew.barben@logica.com_(Delete)
Hi There, We are attempting to delete a folder within Livelink via LAPI (LL9.7.0 , using LAPI 9.7.0). Recycle Bin is installed (Version 4.1.0) and it is configured to use the Recycle Bin method to delete the object instead of the standard delete.Currently when Folders are configured to be deleted via the Recycle Bin method and we are getting this error message: [13-05-2008 7:54:30 674] [4892] [w3wp] [Info] [-] [Deleting Object [VolId:-2000,ObjId:54039]][13-05-2008 7:54:32 502] [4892] [w3wp] [Error] [-] [Message :Unable to Delete Object [VolId:-2000,ObjId:54039]][13-05-2008 7:54:32 502] [4892] [w3wp] [Error] [-] [Status Message :ODBC reported error. [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Could not find stored procedure 'sp_CheckReservedDocument'.][13-05-2008 7:54:32 502] [4892] [w3wp] [Error] [-] [Status :102003 (0x18e73)][13-05-2008 7:54:32 517] [4892] [w3wp] [Error] [-] [Error Message :Error executing stored procedure.]With the folders configured to a standard delete we are able to delete folders via the LAPI. Is this an error that other people have found? and if so is there currently a patch available for the Recycle Bin to correct this?Regards,Matthew Barben - Logicamatthew.barben@logica.com

Since this SP is normally installed at the Recycle bin module installation, you may, if you don't care about what is in the recycle bin, uninstall module, then enable all loggin and reinstall the module. If the problem reoccurs, verify the logs generated during the installation. You could also communicate with support

Thanks again, We were able to correct this issue by removing and redeploying the stored procedures. One of those things for the memory banks :-)Regards, Matthew BarbenLogicamatthew.barben@logica.com
