How to fetch a document version using LAPI java call

I am experienced developer but new to Live Link. I am trying to download the document versions from a folder using java api calls:LLValue pwsInfo = (new LLValue()).setAssocNotSet();session = new LLSession(Server, Port, DFT, userName, password, null);session.setEncoding("UTF-8");documents = new LAPI_DOCUMENTS(session);status = documents.AccessEnterpriseWS(pwsInfo);if (status == 0) { parentVol = pwsInfo.toInteger("VolumeID"); parentID = pwsInfo.toInteger("ID");}status = documents.FetchVersion(parentVol, parentID, 1,fileName);I get the following error:com.opentext.api.LLUnknownFieldException: LLValue unknown field name: FileAttributes Can anybody please help me ? It will really helpful if somebody can post the working code to browse and download document version.Thanks much in advance.

You are doing quite good for a newbie.The only thing I can think of is your parentid is the enterprise workspace .It has subtype 141 and it is not a "versioned" object.So you cannot FetchVersion.If you note down a document and its dataid and do a fetchversion of it the code should work.I will shortly post a java sample that makes more sense of what I am talking about.All livelink objects have subtypes folders are 0,docs 144,enterprise ws 141,personal ws 142 et etc that is what your code should check and call fetchversionif pwsInfo.toInteger("SubType") == 144//then we have a documentelse//don't call fetchVersion

I appreciate your help.I guess your code should work fine, butI was able to use SLAPI (Static LAPI - High Level LAPI) and download the document within 5 lines of code.
