LAPI 9.7.0 ASP.NET Web Service
Matthew_Barben_(matthew.barben@logica.com_(Delete)
Hi There, I am not sure if someone has come across this before but to be absolutely sure I thought I would ask the question. I need to publish the LAPI webservice (LiveService) for LAPI 9.7.0 onto IIS. However after installing LAPI 9.7.0 onto the target server it would appear that the webservice is not included in the binaries. Reading the documentation it is implied that it should already be installed as part of the installation. "Livelink ECM - Enterprise Server SDK Web Services Deployment and Administration Guide - page 11"'To deploy Livelink Web Services for Microsoft .NET, create a virtual directory mapping tothe LAPI_home\webservices\MS_NET\ASP.NET\LiveServices directory in the MicrosoftInternet Information Server Administration application. If you want to use the LivelinkWeb Services sample application, Open Text recommends that you name the virtualdirectory LiveServices.'Looking at the previous versions of the LAPI it would appear that it was included with those versions. Is it possible to confirm: - that it is fine to use the ASP.NET webservice bundled from previous versions of the LAPI - which version of the webservice is the best to use with LAPI 9.7.0Regards, Matthew BarbenLogicamatthew.barben@logica.com
