disabling webnodecmds with permissions

Hello,

 

We’re interested in disabling certain webnode commands(i.e., Print, Download, which can be found in the MULTIFILE Ospace…) if auser has certain permissions.  That is, the admin will define whether or notthe command should appear for a certain group/user.  What is the best wayto disable these commands if the permissions (that we will store, if necessary)require that the command be disabled?  Thanks in advance…

I think the easiest way would be tooverride the webnodecmd objects into your OSpace and set the .fPerms featureappropriately. Don’t forget that permissions are on Livelink items not onusers or groups so on some items your users may actually have the appropriatepermission to use these functions while on others, they will not.
