How to pass an input parameter from main LiveReport to a Sub report

Hi,I would like to know if its possible to pass an input parameter from a main livereport to a sub report?for eg.Main Report:Input: Type = Container Prompt = Select Folder/ProjectSQL:select mimetype "MimeType", count(mimetype) "Doc Count" from webnodes where dataid in (select dataid from dtree start with parentid in (%1,-%1) connect by prior dataid=abs(parentid)) group by mimetypeParam %1: User Input 1Report Format: Auto LiveReportClick-thru Sub-Report: LL_Admin_Adarsh Home:1:Adu:-:2:Cor report 11 - SubSub-Report Param 1: MimeTypeSub Report:Input: Type = String Prompt = Select Folder/Project Type = Container Prompt = Select Folder/Project (Select the same Folder/Project as in the Main Report)SQL:select name, ll_path(dataid) from webnodes where dataid in (select dataid from dtree start with parentid in (%2,-%2) connect by prior dataid=abs(parentid)) and mimetype=%1Param %1: User Input 1Param %2: User Input 2Report Format: Auto LiveReportAs of now while the sub report runs I am asked to input the folder/project once again. Any parameters being passed to the subreport have to be in the "select" portion of the main report. Here's an example of how I got a user input to pass to a subreport. Not sure if you can apply this type of logic in your report though:

Main Report:

Title: Container Name

select name, dataID from DTREE where dataID=%1

Inputs: Container, Prompt: Select a folder

Format: AutoLiveReport

Param %1: User Input 1

Click-thru SubReport: Container Contents

Sub-Report Param 1: dataID

SubReport:

Title: Container Contents

select * from DTREE where parentID=%1

Inputs: Container, Prompt: Select a folder

Format: LiveReport

Param %1: User Input 1

Output of main report:

NAME DATAID Actions
2007 KC Logs 14394747 Details
When "Details" hyperlink above was clicked, it immediately displayed the contents of the "2007 KC Logs" folder, with no prompt.

Hi Upinder,

I am trying to follow your instructions.

But one i hit the "Browse for a Container..." it does not allow me to select anything, there is not select link on the action column.

Do you know why this could be happening?
