Adding a new item type is not somethingthat can be done through the admin pages.
You will actually need to customizeLivelink through the creation of an OScript module to add the new item type.
This will require Builder from theLivelink SDK software package. If your organization has not purchased theLivelink SDK, you will need to contact your sales rep for more information.

I need my users to be able to add an item with the name 'ACHL' which will be a copy of a compound document. How do I create this item/object in the adminsitrator pages ?
