How to export Categories

Hi, Is there anyway to export a category? I don't see an "export" item on the function menu or on the admin.index page. I have many categories (each with more than 10 attributes) that I want to deploy to another environment. I'm currently stuck with creating each from scratch and adding each attribute. This is extremely time consuming. Please help.

wouldn't an xml export from the source system into the target system do it.The export function menu might be something custom that you wrote or maybe OT offered at one time.I believ this is the syntax for export/importhttp:///Livelink/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=2004&objAction=XMLExport&scope=sub&attributeinfo&nodeinfo&versioninfo=all&content=base64Importing into folder id 2126 the xml file at the livelink root of the target systemhttp:///adminLivelink/llisapi.dll?func=ll&&objAction=XMLImport&filename=MajorIntegProject.xml&objid=2126
