Directory Services and 'My Home'

Has anyone actually gotten the 'My Home' link to work with Livelink 9.7.1, Directory Services (NTLM / Single Sign On), Tomcat and IIS 6.0? I have followed the instructions to the letter (several times) but I keep getting 'Unrecoverable Error' when using a synchronized account. It seems to work fine if you disable Directory Services and login with a Livelink account.I've had a call open with the Help Desk for 2 months now and it doesn't seem a solution is forthcoming anytime soon.

You have to include /home.do/* in the list otherwise ldap and myhome might not work.

That seems to have done the trick, thank you!I've been pretty good at keeping up to date with the Livelink Server patches, but I must admit I haven't been doing the module ones.

Hi in LL 9.7.0 (clustered) I upgraded DS to 3.0.0 with windows authentication and username only. 'MyHome' was working fine, but now I get the same 'Unrecoverable Error'. As per this discussion thread, I clicked on the OK button of the Configure Authentication source, which did not fix the problem. Should I still install the patch 07144.txt??Secondly the web-xml does have /*.do/ as url-pattern. Should I really require /home.do/* instead??

Hi,I applied the patch, it worked only until the next scheduled sync. I have noticed it fail again with 'Unrecoverable Error'. Does anyone have any clue why the patch failed...

Seetha,

I’m not exactly sure what sequence you use to attempt toresolve this issue. You first need to apply the patch and then access the 'ConfigureAuthentication Source' page and save changes. After doing this, the patch needsto stay in place.
