I wrote written a Livererport, as last the parentid.I wrote then an webreport.In the header section I putLink to ParentfolderIn the row section:https://myLLAdrress/livelink?func=ll&objId=[LL_REPTAG="parentid" /]&objAction=browse&sort=nameUnfortunately, if no data is found, the column lable "Link to Parent folder" is written as output.How can I avoid this?Is is possible to check in the code for the numbers of data and if 0 to print out a special message to the user?Thanks in advance!!Isa

Glad its partially working for you. No idea why the ELSE is not working, what version of WebReports are you using?I cut and pasted the code from a working WebReport of mine

Hi Isa,I was able to try the code out on my WebReports 5.0.0 instance and it works fine, would you be able to post what version of WebReports you are using as Tim suggested? I just want to try and replicate what you are seeing locally if possible.Also, depending on what version you have, WebReports currently has a subtag called LLURL which you can use to build URL hyperlinks dynamically in your WebReports based on a node id you specify to the subtag. Hi again,I just thought I would add an example of LLURL for you and also mention that I'm going to cross-post this to the WebReports discussion board in the Knowledge Center.In your case with creating URL's, if you have a data tag in your WebReport that is returning the node id of an item, andyou want to quickly create a URL for use in a hyperlink to that objects parent, you can use something like this:[LL_REPTAG_MYID NODEINFO:PARENTID LLURL:DEFAULTLINK /]In this case, MYID is a data tag that returns the nodeid of the WebReport being run, NODEINFO:PARENTID is a subtag that will get the parent id of whatever object MYID is, and then applying LLURL:DEFAULTLINK will return to the report the default URL for the parent id.Cheers,Darren.

Hi, the ELSE clause was added a few versions after the original IF/ENDIFfunctionality so if you have an really old version of WR (pre 4.0 I think), youwon’t have the ELSE capability.
