LiveLink Directory Services 3.1.0 LDAP- Read-Only

I have a LiveLink Enterprise server 9.71 on a Windows 2003 R2 Sp1 Enterprise. Trying to do a LDAP Read-Only synch with a group that has over 1000 users. We upgraded Directory services from version 3.0.0 to 3.1.0 in the Synch Sources edit parameters section there's a section search result page size, I have it set to 1000. My ldap synch will read the 1st 1000 and quit. How do I synch the remaining users in this group. I was under the impression that the Directory Services 3.1.0 module would fix this.

sounds to me like you are running into the group size limit. By default, you can only have 1000 users in a group. The reason for this is that having more users than that can start to impact performance because of permissions checking on such a large group.

You can increase this by modifying the maxuseringroup setting in the opentext.ini, but I would not recommend setting it too high. setting it to 2000 is unlikely to have a huge effect, setting it to 10000 is likely to cause problems.

it was because we reached the limit of users in the default group in Livelink. We had more than 1000
