if you are new to livelink you will need to check if the search subsystem as signified by the service "Admin" in your livelink install is working.Typically if it is a dev machine and already configured a re-start or re-synchronize would get it going.The appluquery is submitting the query to the livelink search subsystem which is giving you that error.If you use the web gui and tried to search it should give you the same error.Search subsytems are accessible to a livelink admin by using func=admin.index and clicking the link "System Object Volume".The processes should not show as errors.
