calling java servlet from xml workfow interchange

I am seeing null parameter values when I passed a servlet path to XML Interchange step. It did well for a php and the intilal parameter value in servlet but the posted values were lost. Anybody with useful clue on what to do?How do I call a java sevlet and retain my posted data in the servlet? Thanks
