The 9.7.0 schema describes WData.Data_UserData as "Used to store data for a data type or a pointer to the data". I am guessing I'm looking at a pointer when the value is: 'B/14254092'. For other workflows, I get a lot of data for this value (such as A<1,?,'Content'=A<1,?,'RootSet'=A<1,?,'Children'={A<1,?,'DisplayName'='Check',....). When I see a pointer, how do I use this to actually find the data? My goal is to find all workflows initiated from a particular map where a particular attribute has the value 'Yes'.Thanks for any help.Hap Fiandt

WDATA.Data_UserData column in the WDATA table has been used in several ways:

For attachments, the nodeid of the attachments folder is stored in UserData. We use this to look up the folder from within DTree. 'The pointer to the data' can also be a reference to a primary key in another table used for looking up data. This is the case with comments. In WFComments, WF_WorkFlowID is the primary key and this is the value that is stored in UserData for the comments workpackage.

Workflow attribute names are stored in the WDATA table within an assoc in the Data_UserData column. An "assoc" is a Content Server datatype that stores information as a long string of key-value pairs, and thus makes it difficult to extract specific attribute values via SQL.

Thanks for your reply. For workflow attributes where we have assoc we are able to extarct the informatio and map it to WFATTRDATA table. But in some workflows we have the data_userdata values like B/30816551 for data_subtype=3. Can you let me know how we can map this to aorkflow attributes.

The values are mapped to table KLong and the longID is the number followed by B/….
