I don’t know the answer to this butit is a moot point as LAPI is now in maintenance mode. So my advice would be todo all new coding in Web Services. Of course, if anyone does know, I’d beinterested.

What is faster LAPI or WebServices

Hi, Has anyone compare the performance between making LAPI calls (.net) versus making WebServices call. Which one is faster, which one is likely to work better. Tks -P
I believe the old WebServices (9501 andbefore) used LAPI so was just another layer to pass through, but I don’t knowif the latest WebServices go direct yet. Certainly the great stuff at ContentDay showed that future WebServices will rule out LAPI altogether and be muchfaster, but I don’t know if the future is now J
