Error finishing workflow step

I am getting 'Error finishing workflow step' on the different workflow steps. After I click return button the step successfully finishes. The error is not consistent too. Most of the times I do not get it. Did anybody experienced something like this before?

Message from Philip Forshaw via eLinkUnfortunately it could be lots of things (I get it with failed eventscripts or breakpoints in code). Try switching on Verbose Logs and Debug2, you may get a trace file that could point out the reason..Another 'debuggy' thing to try is placing a 'do nothing' Initiator stepjust after the problem step and before the next one.
