Hi Tobias,
Ya, it’s a cookie – “LLPageSizeCookie”.

Load Test for LES and AJAX
Posted by tobias.mueller@doctra.de (M?ller, Tobias) on 2009/08/31 07:36
Hello, I am trying to set up an automated load test for Livelink. This test should be executed on several clients with different user context. The aim is an analysis of the browse performance. The idea is to browse a folder with 20, 100 and 500 items controlled by the page size and collect the execution time. With 9.7.1 Livelink introduced pagination. Can anybody tell me, where the number of items per page (page size) is stored. Is it a cookie? I would like to manipulate this setting before the test (in order to be able to display 500 items) and set it back to the initial value afterwards. As anybody done something like this? Thanks for your feedback. Tobias
You can also change this in the Adminpages.
ServerConfiguration ? Configure Presentation ? Configure Container Options
Add 500 to a new line in the Number of Items Shown Per Page and Save itthen go back and change the Default Number ofItems Shown Per Page to 500.? Save it again and restart the Livelinkservice (this may not be required but never hurts).? That way you can set upyour containers knowing that it will show up to the 500 you need.

Hi Greg,
thank you very much for your help. The setting you referring isa system wide setting. Since my customer has 8000 user on the production system,I can not change this setting easily, I will try to create a patch and controlthe “LLPageSizeCookie“ via a Parameter in the URL per user. A URLparameter is easier to control as a cookie parameter ….
Regards
Tobias

Not a problem Tobias – I assumed youwere doing the load test on a Dev system not Production. Since I would thinkloading a Production would definitely have a negative effect on day to dayoperations of the client.
