Update Folder ACL using LAPI

can we update folder permission using LAPI?I need to remove Default and Public Access from ACL and want to add the specific Livelink group. so only this new group will have access to this folder and its sub items.Is it possible using LAPI?Kuldeep

the answer is yes. What I have done is first remove the current ACL's then apply the new ones. Attached is a little bit of the java code that I wrote (it's quite messy...), that might help. it shows both the remove folder perms and the set folder perms
