Hi Bhupinder,we are trying to search hindi content in livelink ...some one told us to update hindi language dictionary system wll recognize hindi content (Mangal font Unicode)..can we do some code change possibility in oscript of websbroker module or any other ?

I think that if you are working with a UTF8 version of Livelink, you should be able to search on Hindi content (no customizations required). I was recently working on a project to index Japanese content, and we had to install Livelink 9.7.1 UTF8 version as part of our testing to get it to work. For assistance with installing and configuring a UTF8 Livelink instance (since there are also specific database requirements with respect to the character set used by the database), please contact support@opentext.com

UTF-8 Livelink does not recognize Hindi Unicode code points. It is not in the spec. Hindi is not on the list of supported languages.

Ray directed me to a list of supported languages for UTF-8 Livelink. To see what search features are supported with which language, please refer to pages 5 through 16 of the document referenced below:

Feel free to submit a feature request to support@opentext.com asking for Hindi to get added to the list of supported languages.
