Copy Classifications from one node to another?

Hello,

I am using the copyNode function (DocMan) to copy node with their metadata and permissions. The source nodes has classifications. How do i copy classifications to the destination folder using webservices? or are classifications inherited ?

I tried going to the RM discussion forum but no luck.

I am assuming there is some sort of RM classes in webservices ? correct?

Just a follow up:

When use the copyNode function ti sometimes copies the classifications adn sometimes it does not.

Any input would e very much appreciated.

Hi Amir,

I'm not yet too familiar with the RM Enterprise Web Service, but yes, there is one.

Once RM is installed, you should get an les-services-recordsmanagement folder in <OTHOME>\webservices\dotnet directory. Likewise, for Java, a car/war pair is added to <OTHOME>\webservices\java\core-services and ...\java\webapps.

Hitting the WSDL for that service on my system, you can see a collection of various Classification-related methods.
