Application Creation and Deletion

If you use the MMC snapin to create a new Application,what I observe are this.A new Enterprise Library Volume is created.With that two search slices are created(the ones that show in the livelink GUI says search Test,Search test[ all variants] that kind).If the application is deleted the Enterprise volume is gone but the slices stay there.Is this intentional.Would somebody need to search that slice if it is deleted.Our setup is ELS 10.0.(LEA9.7.1&LES9.7.1)I can manually clean up the leftover slices but wanted to know if that needs to be done or I am missing something in my configuration.

This is an inconsistency that we hope to be able to address in the next release. For now cleaning up the slices manually is probably a good idea.Best regards,Xaver
