Oracle Internet Directory (LDAP)

Has anyone got Directory Services working with Oracle's Internet Directory for user synch? What about Oracle SSO, or is this more a question of getting IIS or the chosen web server to work with Oracle SSO?Thanks,Matt.

The synch, while not specifically supported with Oracle Internet Directory, should likely work as long as it is an LDAP server. This article is written based on Active Directory, but it still shows how to configure the synch, and might be helpful to you:

As for the SSO, as long as you can get it to pass in REMOTE_USER, it should work with Livelink Directory Services. If that isn't possible, DS will allow you to select another authentication variable. As long as you can pass in the username, this should work.

Hi Chris,Thanks for the reply. I am of the same mind. There is a plug in listener for IIS that Oracle have developed specifically for SSO and it's a free download, so looks like this should work fine.If we actually implement this, I will report back.Matt.
