Setting Attributes Problem

Hi Mr/Mrs

We want to upload a file to Livelink using Document Service. And then we add to file's metadata a created Category. When setting category attributes which is empty, we got this error : Object reference is not set to an instance of object.

We want your solutions. How we can fix this problem?

Hi, Ghasem.

Based on the exception, something in this statement is null instead of an object:

(((StringValue)((DataValue)(Catvaluess[i]))).Values[0]) =
Txtvalues[i].ToString();

I suspect it's Values, but please use a debugger to determine which one it is. If it is Values, you will need to assign a new array to that property so that you can populate it using Txtvalues.
