Does LAPI support RM classification?

LAPI has a section on "Record Management"...however, this is to to handle its internal 'RecArray' rather than Livelink RM classification.

Is this a statement or a qn ? Many RM functions are exposed thru LAPI if you put the interface file for RM in your lapi project.That is clearly explained in the programmers guide.

Please refer toThe RM (and PO) LAPI support is shipped with the modules.You should be able to find the corresponding API documentation in KC(sorry, no link at hand).

It appears my LAPI SDK installation is either a) faulty and/or b) deficient...as from the other post, I got the impression that I do not require any additional installation to get RM API...please correct me if I'm wrong on this...and if so, a link to download the RM SDK installer would be greatly appreciated.

From ../LAPI/doc/index.html (of my LAPI SDK installation), there is no mention of any RM modules...so I'm now wondering where I can get a copy of this programmer's guide (that appears to be different to what I'm reading)

Checking the .../LAPI/include...it is also apparent I'm missing any [obvious] RM related .h files

Checking the .../LAPI/bin/llkernel.dll...its version is 9.7.1.393 (obtained from Windows property dialog)

Please let me know what I'm missing.

I searched the KB for “LAPI Records Management SDK” and it (surprisingly ;-) gave a few good hits. Have a look at the API guide here: https://knowledge.opentext.com/go/15665839.Otherwise, I always recommend opening the builder and looking at the API handlers in the relevant Ospace. First of all if you are a new lapi programmer it is very unclear how to use the interface api file.I use this method all which I learned by myself so I am not sure if they are all right or not but give it a try and see if you fare better at your setup
