Upload small document vs large documents

Hi,

I had a look to the client guide for "small documents upload" and "large document upload".

I wonder if there is a reason to switch from the "small documents upload" method to "large documents upload" method except that there is different calls.

Could I decide to always use the "large documents upload" method for bulk upload? Any drawback?

PS: I am using C#.

Hi, Richard.

There's no reason you couldn't always use the large document (streaming) approach. For small documents, though, it might be more efficient to send the entire contents in a single rather than relying on the second request to stream the contents.
