Better to re-connect every time?

I haven't seen an answer to this in the LAPI documentation. Is it better to create a new LAPI connection every time I make a LAPI call? Or is it better to create the LLSession (java), LAPI_DOCUMENTS, etc., once and keep them around for all future LAPI calls?

You can keep/reuse a single LLSession, LAPI_DOCUMENTS, ... instance forall LAPI calls as long as you use it single threaded.The LLSession object is quite a simple parameter container object forthe connection parameters. Each LAPI call implies a new actualconnection (which is closed right after the call returned).
