Search not Indexing News

Should Content Server automatically index News items in Channels? I don't seem to be able to search for articles, but I can find their attachments.

This was a bug in Livelink 9.5, but, it was fixed in 9.6 (the bug I reported at that time was bug # LPAD-9725). I recommend contacting support@opentext.com for assistance, so that they can look into the problem in more detail, perhaps asking you to generate search logs as part of the investigation.
