Updating Email Nodes

I just wanted to get some confirmation on this.

Updating/Modifying Email nodes is not supported with web services correct? When I attempted to add categories to an Email node and called the UpdateNode method, it caused an exception saying the Node Type is not supported for Update. This would make sense given that you can't create Email nodes using web services either.

Is there anyway around this limitation?

I'll take the lack of reply as a no.

Another question then. I can set a folder to have a partiuclar set of categories. When I move objects into those folders in Outlook using Livelink Explorer, Livelink Explorer prompts me asking if I want the new items to take the categories of the folder. Is there anyway to stop this prompt from happening and auto-add the category information? I need this process to be automatic, and since I can't use web services to update the items I'm adding, and because this prompt disrupts the automation, I'm running out of ideas.

At the moment the eMail subtype does not support EWS, so you won't be able to do what you want to do. However, it is very simple to add support for the eMail subtype within Livelink. I am informed that CS10 will have full support for EWS for these activities.
