Source of the call

Motorola_Compass_(motocomp1_-_(deleted))

Hi.

I am trying to find out the source of a LAPI call.  It is easy to tell (by reading the thread log file) when it is coming from Livelink Explorer since it uses http requests.

But how can I find out the source, IP address for example, when a basic authentication call is made?

Would not  Basic Authentication imply that the webserver which  is tunneling the call into livelink,in which case the IP address of the requester will be logged in the webserver logs(if set to log).Also many real lapi commands like "CreateObjectEX) and things like that are probably falling under event authentication

If you have WantSummaryTimings=TRUE in the livelink server it will also help as it will burn a csv file something like this
