User Validation Script

I am new to Livelink development and currently going through Livelink Builder technical documents. I have a requirement to customize Livelink that when a user is added to a group, a validation should happen and check whether the user is a member of a parent Livelink group. If the user is a member, the execution should go through and add the user to the group otherwise it should inform the user with an error message.

Can someone help me in identifying what objects I need to orphan and give an overview how to do this in Builder?

You will need a orphan of lliapi:llapi User Call Backs and you would probably look at the script

CBGROUPUPDATE and employ your business rules there appropriately.
