CAP Connector when Validating

I've been working with the LiveLink WebServices for a couple of weeks now. When a user is authenticated, i would guess that there's an expire-time on the token received. I tried to use the authenticationservice's Validate method to check the validation on the token, but i receive a FaultException which states that the CAP Connector module is not installed. Does anyone know what this module is and where can i find it?

Hi, Andre.

The ValidateUser method is to authenticate a user given a CAP token. Authentication tokens for the web services expire just like authentication cookies for the UI; the same security parameters govern both.

To add to Scott's posting, the CAP Connector is not necessary when performing standard Content Server authentication or NTLM authentication.

Certain solutions (e.g., Enterprise Library) may use the CAP Connector for alternate means of authentication.
