Reporting on Zip and Download activity

We have a report we run on a folder (and subfolders) to show all activity within that folder. The report is setup to show the following: create, fetch and view. I also want to add ZipandDownload but am not able to figure out how to alter the statement to include this activity. Can anyone advise how to alter this so that the report also returns and shows if the item was zipped and downloaded. select d3.name folder, d1.name objname, d2.auditdate, d2.auditstr, k1.name username, k2.name groupname from kuaf k2, kuaf k1, dauditnew d2, dtree d3, dtree d1 where d1.dataid = d2.dataid and UPPER(d2.auditstr) in ('FETCH','VIEW','CREATE') and d2.performerid = k1.id and k1.groupid = k2.id and d1.parentid = d3.dataid and d2.auditdate >= %2 and d2.auditdate <= %3 and d1.dataid in ( select dataid from dtree connect by prior dataid = parentid start with dataid = %1)

In the Admin Pages / System Administration / Administer EventAuditing / Set Auditing Interests, you can check off "Zip andDownload" and "Zip and E-mail". This will make sure the eventsare being audited. If they aren't, then they won't show up as entries in the audittable.

Then you go to System Administration / Administer Event Auditing/ Query Audit log, you can choose "Zip and Download" or "Zip andE-mail" as the Event Type. Plus you can narrow it down by date or user ifyou choose.

Thanks for the reply. However, I know how to run the audit for one user, etc., What I am asking for assistance with is a LiveReport we have that audits a folder and subfolders. Currently it is returning if items are viewed or created or feteched. I want the report to include zip and download but not sure how to modify the statement so that the report returns zip and downloaded as an event type.

You would have to modify the statement: in('FETCH','VIEW','CREATE') to include the features you want.

So I think it would be: in ('FETCH','VIEW','CREATE','ZipAndDownload','ZipAndEmail')

Karen, Nicole wanted to make sure you were auditing the events, that was her purpose on double checkingAs long as those events are being audited you want to include 'ZipAndDownload' in your query and optionally 'ZipAndEmail'

Yes, I appreciate that and realized after I submitted my reply that I had to have that checked first before resutls would be retuned in a LiveReport. I did check and those are checked. I did modify the report to include ZipandDownload but it is not returning any results. Yet, when I go into a folder and look at some of the documents I see where it is showing that the user zipped and downloaded it, but it is not being returned as an event on the Live Report. This is very important as we have to show all activity and if this is not being returned it appears the user has not viewed the document, when in fact they have.

Re-Looking at your query I see where the potential for error isAND UPPER(d2.auditstr) IN ('FETCH','VIEW','CREATE')Since you are UPPERing auditstr you need to make sure your ZipandDownload is UPPER as well, so 'ZIPANDDOWNLOAD'

Yes, it is a good report and we use it for compliance purposes. We are also trying to refine it a little further so that it includes the entire path. If you have a folder with allot of sub-folders under it, the report does not return the complete path.
