Need a quick answer about permissions within LL EWS

I need to know if the permission functionality exists in the EWS. Can a user access Nodes/Files/Folders/Metadata which he doesn't have access to by using the EWS?

Yes, Livelink enforces permissions for content accessed via the web services.

Are you seeing a particular issue or was this a general question?

Thanks for the quick answer:)

It was just a general question. I was hoping to avvoid having to implement permission check when downloading/uploading metadata to folders etc which a user doesn't have permission to access.
